What are Exams ?

Imagine a dental exam as a check-up for your mouth and teeth, just like a doctor’s check-up for the rest of your body! It’s when the dentist takes a close look inside your mouth to make sure everything is healthy and happy.

Sometimes, the dentist will take special pictures called X-rays. These pictures let them see things they can’t see with just their eyes, like what’s going on inside your teeth and under your gums. It helps them find problems early.

What are Cleanings?

Even if you brush really well, sometimes tiny bits of sticky stuff called plaque and hard, rough stuff called tartar can build up on your teeth, especially near your gums and in hard-to-reach spots. We use special little tools to gently scrape this stuff away. Think of it like carefully scraping mud off your shoes.

How often should I get a Cleaning & Exams ?

Regular dental cleanings and exams every 6 months are crucial for maintaining optimal oral health. These appointments also enable early detection of any potential issues.
